Yesterday the 'lawn and snow' guys came for the "Fall Cleanup". They had been talking about this for quite some time but I hadn't quite realised that it was indeed quite such a big deal (as they had been making out that it was quite a big thing) until the last week or so when all the leaves finally came down. And indeed it was quite the big deal to blow all the leaves from the entire property into a couple of big heaps. Here is the resulting pile last night waiting for the city council to come this morning! As of 8am this morning they have all gone - just in time for the first snow that is forecast for later today.
