Here are the meringues waiting for me to take them across town to the hospital for Jamie's farewell lunch. The afghan biscuits (cookies!) went with him this morning along with a cheese/spinach dip and crackers.

Victoria they look amazing, am impressed with the KIWI fruit as I balk at paying a $1.00 per item so have never purchased. Also am irritated that they insist on calling them just 'KIWI' .... we don't eat 'KIWI' now do we. -:) Pat
Yes we like our kiwiFRUIT and I insist on making comment about it all the time and explaining to people here that kiwi is our national symbol and we do not eat it (unlike our neighbouring Australians who eat both of their national symbols - the emu and the kangaroo). Was rather annoyed that these ones are grown in California and the ones I bought on the weekend for breakfast fruit salad were Italian. Not good.
