Here is the new cabinet we had made to tone in with the New Zealand Rimu wood one (see pictures from Dec 21st 2004). I got a bit excited seeing it is almost Spring and there are lots of flowers in the shops and bought some miniature daffodils in a pot yesterday (that was before last night's snow.... guess the flowers are grown in glasshouses/ greenhouses).

The cabinet looks very nice. Is there a metal strip or is it just the light reflected. Love the spring flowers.
It's an aluminium strip to match the ones on the baseboard at the bottom of both of them (you can see part of it on the 2nd picture on November 5th 2004 where it is reflecting the light)
