'Do you think you could make us a driveway before the snow comes?' I asked the other day. "We'd better start tomorrow before the weather turns cold" was the reply. And so within 24 hours they had started AND finished. Just as well because as I type this two weeks later, the new driveway is hidden under 3 cm of snow!
