The main broken part was these little elbows they are meant to be connected as in the centre of pic and to the right. About 75% of them were completely snapped off after the piano was bashed up by some children earlier this year when it was at Jamies Moms house. But now it is all fixed and we can play it!!! I'm so excited after not having a piano in the house for well over a decade!

The real story is that the piano is very old and not maintained and the elbows would have broken if ANYBODY was playing it, even a concert pianist from the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra!!!
No just any old concert pianist, but one from the Boston Philharmonic in particular. How interesting.
