We've had some stormy weather the last few days - thunderstorms and lightning and quite a bit of snow. The children (and teachers like our next door neighbours) are pleased because when there is too much snow (or ice) they have a 'snow day' or an 'ice day' and get the day off school because it is too dangerous for the yellow school buses to go out. Here is a non-spectacular tree in our front garden and our grotty hedge looking just fabuolous with snow on them! It has been so cold that when the snow starts to melt, it then freezes, leaving lots of the trees completely encrusted in ice (not to mention paths and driveways iced over and even the cars encased in a shell of ice!). Double-click on the pics to see the detail, especially the next one....
