Autumn in Michigan

Firstly, here are some pics of the house I took just before we went away...





And here are a couple more from this week - as always, Autumn in Michigan is quite beautiful and the colours this year are stunning. The weather is obviously getting cooler - we have the heating on at night and the mornings are rather chilly. The close-up is taken from inside and is what I see out the kitchen window!

I was just perusing a card from one of the cameras and thought I'd upload a few random holiday shots so we dont get any comments about no pics of us, only Cooper and scenery shots!!




<- Here are Jamie and Cooper last week on the beach at Hilton Head Island and the one above is Cooper and I at Harbor Springs in July.

This one is us with Maria at 'Sleeping Bear Dunes' having climbed (yes even the small person walked) up the sand dune.

On holiday! (sort of)

Cooper and I are on holiday but Jamie is conferencing here at Hilton Head Island, in South Carolina I left my cellphone in the car at the airport so if family/friends are wondering why I'm not answering, you can phone us here or on Jamie's cellphone. The hotel is a combo of our Christmas holiday visits - the outside similar to the Westin Maui and the foyer/lobby like the Moana Surfrider!

On day one Cooper and I went exploring all around the hotel, the day warmed up as we went along and lots of people went swimming, however it was 'sleepytime' for a (very) tired boy at 2pm so when he woke at 5pm it was getting cooler. Jamie got back around 6pm so we went to the beach by which time it was rather windswept as you can see! Green bucket is not in the picture here but Cooper's Nonna & Poppa bought it for him in Hawaii and now it has been from the Pacific to the Atlantic.
