Autumn in Michigan
Firstly, here are some pics of the house I took just before we went away...
And here are a couple more from this week - as always, Autumn in Michigan is quite beautiful and the colours this year are stunning. The weather is obviously getting cooler - we have the heating on at night and the mornings are rather chilly. The close-up is taken from inside and is what I see out the kitchen window!

I agree the colors (I've been in this country too long - I now spell like an American - ugh) this year are stunning. There seems to be a lot more orange and red than the last couple of years.
Sounds like you had a great time in Hilton Head. I hope you are enjoying time with your mum now.
