The finished doorway - taken today so the snow is probably distracting - we can now get to the doorhandle without scraping up the back of our hands every single time we try to get in. (in a previous photo on Aug 30th blog entry the doorhandle could not be seen as it was inside a weird narrow space because the actual door was wider than the doorway. By the way, the white archway will not be white forever as we think it is hideous and the original grey would look better.
